Happy March my blog friends! It's running in with the full force of a lion here in Carolina! They're calling for up to 5 inches of snow in and around the Triangle area! We've stocked up on TP so bring it on!
One of the blogs I read every day is The Farm Chicks. I would encourage you to visit Serena and Teri's blog and get to know them a little better. I first "met" them as I would scour through my "country" magazines. They would often contribute a recipe, a craft idea or junk-tique trick to use in or around the house. I was elated to learn of their new cookbook...I'm hoping I'll find the issue in my Easter Basket (hint, hint...).
I'm calling attention to the chicks in order to have my blog entered into an upcoming giveaway that Serena and Teri are hosting. It's a complete surprise but one I'm sure will be fabulous. With the following these ladies have, I suspect my odds of winning will be small. Nonetheless, I'm giving it a try and, at the very least, I'm hoping my post will expose you to a site that you will bookmark, enjoy and return to time and time again.
Wish me luck!

The gals look like they have a lot of fun! hope you win!
btw, who are the lovely ladies in your header?
Good morning, Karen! Are you iced in? Beautiful, isn't it? The short drive from Union Grove Church Road to 421 was dicey at best this morning. Good thing Spring's on the horizon!
I pretend the three ladies are me and my two buddies Cathy & Linda. But really, I have no idea who they are! I picked up the clipart from www.clipartfairy.com (at least I think that's where I got it!). If I could figure out how to adjust the print size and placement in my header, I'd note it there but I'm just not that blogger literate yet!
Stay warm and be careful on the roads!
